Job summary

ABB is seeking a Field Service Technician II to lead start-up, commissioning, and post-start field services primarily within the data center market in the United States. You will travel across the US with comprehensive travel and lodging accommodations and per diem, delivering service work with high complexity and exceptional customer service.

Requirements include a high school diploma/GED with years of hands-on electrical/electronics experience or higher degrees with relevant experience,

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical/electronics maintenance.
• Knowledge of NEC and safety regulations.
• Ability to travel 90-100% across the US.
• Fluent English with clear communication.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute field service work per customer order and expectations.
• Travel extensively to customer sites across the US.
• Troubleshoot equipment and propose preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Site Manager and senior technicians to improve processes.
• Maintain documentation and reports using relevant software.
