Job summary

ABB is seeking a Field Service Technician II to lead start-up, commissioning and post-start-up field services within the data center market in the United States. You will travel across the country, execute mid to high complexity service work, and deliver exceptional customer service according to ABB standards.

The role requires electrical/electronics experience, NEC knowledge, and strong communication. You will support site managers and senior technicians, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety

Qualifications

• Theoretical experience in electrical design and power systems.
• Knowledge of NEC, safety codes, QA practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute field service work per customer orders and timelines.
• Travel 90–100% across the United States for long-term assignments.
• Assist with data collection and reporting to support fleet performance analysis.
• Provide spare parts support and issue resolution for customers.
• Maintain documentation and test reports using job-related software.
