Job summary

Hobart Service seeks a Service/Repair Technician 2 to provide on-site support for commercial food equipment, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires the ability to read schematics, handle mechanical and electrical tasks, and work on-call with after-hours and weekend coverage.

You will travel to customer sites, adhere to safety protocols, maintain proper documentation, and collaborate with the team to meet service objectives.

Qualifications

• HVACR experience and EPA certification where required.
• Ability to read service manuals and schematics.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Installs mechanical and electrical equipment and assists in advanced installs.
• Diagnoses and repairs basic mechanical equipment for customers.
• Interprets schematics and follows operation sequences.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Follows safety manuals and procedures and documents work.
