Job summary

Hobart Service is seeking a Service/Repair Technician 2 to provide on-site support for commercial food equipment. You will install, diagnose, and repair equipment, including refrigeration and cooking devices, while following safety protocols and maintenance schedules.

The role requires reading schematics, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining strong customer relations. On-call and after-hours availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years electrical and mechanical experience, or
• HVACR service experience with EPA certification, or
• HVACR vocational certificate, demonstrating hands-on ability and safety.
• Associate’s degree or vocational certificate preferred; experience with commercial cooking/refrigeration equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and/or service commercial food equipment on-site.
• Diagnose and repair basic mechanical and electrical equipment for customers.
• Interpret and follow schematic diagrams and service manuals.
• Document preventative maintenance and follow safety procedures.
