Job summary

Hobart Service is seeking a Service/Repair Technician 2 to provide on-site support for commercial food equipment installations, maintenance, and repairs. The role includes on-call and after-hours work, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and high customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma/GED with 2-4 years electrical/mechanical experience or HVACR experience with EPA certification; vocational HVACR certification is a plus. Travel up to 50% may be involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2-4 years electrical and mechanical experience or 0-2 years HVACR service with EPA certification.
• HVACR vocational/certification is desirable.
• Associate’s degree or vocational certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install mechanical and electrical commercial food equipment and assist in advanced installs as needed.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair basic mechanical equipment for customers.
• Interpret and follow schematic diagrams.
• Complete and document preventative maintenance.
• Follow Hobart Service safety manuals and programs.
• Support customer satisfaction and branch financial objectives.
