Job summary

Hobart Service is seeking a Service/Repair Technician 2 to provide on-site support for commercial food equipment, including installation, service, and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with 2–4 years mechanical/electrical experience or HVACR certification; EPA certification preferred. Must be able to travel up to 50% and work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2-4 years electrical and mechanical experience, or
• High school diploma or GED with 0-2 years HVACR service experience with EPA certification, or
• Vocational certificate in HVACR

Responsibilities

• Installs mechanical and electrical commercial food equipment and assists in more advanced installs as needed.
• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment for customers.
• Interpret and follow schematic diagrams and safety manuals.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and service procedures; document service activities.
• Travel to customer sites and provide on-site support with safety and professionalism.
