Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC, operating through Hobart Service, seeks a Service/Repair Technician 2 to provide on-site support for commercial food equipment at customer locations. The role includes installation, service, diagnostics and repair with on-call, after-hours, holiday, and weekend shifts.

You’ll interpret schematics, perform preventative maintenance, and follow Hobart Service safety programs while keeping tools and vehicle in good order.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years of electrical and mechanical experience or HVACR experience with EPA certification
• HVACR certification or Vocational HVACR certificate options available
• Associate’s degree or Vocational Certificate preferred

Responsibilities

• Install and service commercial food equipment on-site
• Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical equipment
• Interpret schematics and service manuals
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Maintain company assets and tools
• Provide quality customer experience on each visit
