Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC, an Illinois Tool Works subsidiary, is seeking a Service/Repair Technician to support on-site service of Hobart branded commercial food equipment. The role requires installation, maintenance and repair across cooking, refrigeration, and related systems at customer sites.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with HVACR experience or EPA certification, and are expected to follow safety procedures while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years electrical and mechanical experience, or
• HVACR service experience with EPA certification (0–2 years), or
• Vocational HVACR certificate.

Responsibilities

• Install and service mechanical and electrical commercial food equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment on customer sites.
• Read and follow schematic diagrams and service manuals.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document it.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear proper PPE.
• Provide quality customer experience and support branch objectives.
