Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC is seeking a Service/Repair Technician 2 to provide on-site installation, service and repair of commercial food equipment for Hobart Service customers. The role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance.

The position includes on-call, after-hours, holiday, and weekend work as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with relevant experience, HVACR certification where

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years of mechanical/electrical experience, or
• High school diploma or GED with 0–2 years HVACR service experience and EPA certification, or
• Vocational certificate in HVACR

Responsibilities

• Installs and assists with mechanical and electrical commercial food equipment.
• Diagnoses and repairs basic mechanical equipment for customers on contract or T&M basis.
• Interprets schematic diagrams and follows procedures.
• Performs preventative maintenance and documents results.
• Follows safety manuals and programs, supporting quality service.
• Maintains assets, tools, and inventory and adheres to driving policies.
