Job summary

Hobart Service is seeking a Service/Repair Technician 2 to provide on-site installation, service, and maintenance of commercial food equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, interpret schematics, and perform preventative maintenance on contract and T&M jobs.

The role requires flexibility for on-call, after-hours, holiday, and weekend work, with responsibilities including asset management and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years electrical and mechanical experience.
• HVACR experience with EPA certification if no HVACR degree.
• HVACR vocational certificate accepted.
• Associate’s degree or Vocational Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and diagnose/repair basic mechanical and electrical commercial food equipment.
• Interpret and follow schematic diagrams.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Follow Hobart Service safety manuals and programs.
