Job summary

Andersen Corporation seeks a Service Technician to provide superior customer service by performing repairs and maintenance on Renewal by Andersen products. This field-based role uses a company vehicle; a motor vehicle record check is required.

You will service and repair installed products, assess issues, and communicate actions to the team while maintaining parts, inventory, and vehicle readiness. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• 2+ years window installation experience preferred.
• Basic construction techniques; knowledge of building materials and terminology.
• Ability to handle confrontation/conflicts with tact and diplomacy.
• Basic math, legible writing, basic computer skills (Word and Excel).
• Diagnostic, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong interpersonal communication, listening and empathy skills; organizational skills for scheduling and stock management.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair previously installed RbA products.
• Analyze situations, determine corrective action, and verify effectiveness.
• Keep team informed of customer interactions and actions taken to resolve service issues.
• Provide accurate part descriptions, including part numbers to Service RSR.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance and inventory.
• Provide Signature Service to homeowners and peers.
• Basic knowledge of RbA window and door installation techniques and correct installation errors.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
