Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. Irving, Texas is seeking a Field Service Technician I to deliver on-site maintenance and support for Canon-supported products. This customer-facing role requires the ability to travel and lift up to 50 pounds, with a 120-day introductory period and PDIF training.

The position offers an hourly compensation range and a transportation allowance, with opportunities to contribute to service metrics and customer satisfaction in a dynamic field service environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of internet environments.
• Ability to travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record).
• Must take steps to obtain security/clearances required by customers.

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with documented records.
• Provide efficient, responsive on-site maintenance to meet customer demands.
• Maintain technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain performance of assigned machines and contribute to branch targets.
• Comply with customer policies and COVID-19 related measures.
