Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician I to join our EnerSys Energy Systems team. You will provide on-site service, maintenance, and repair for UPS, switchgear, and critical equipment at customer locations, supporting telecom, data centers, and emergency power.

This role requires travel to customer sites, performing preventive maintenance under supervision, building strong customer relationships, and adhering to safety policies such as OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical and mechanical aptitude; foundational electrical knowledge.
• Availability to work non-standard hours in a 24/7 work week.
• Able to lift 75 lbs. and carry equipment; climb ladders; work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Shadow experienced technician on service calls.
• Travel to customer sites to install and repair equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
