Job summary

HOLT CAT is seeking a Field Service Technician I to perform face-to-face customer service and minor troubleshooting at off-site locations. The role includes diagnosing equipment, performing repairs, installing parts, and maintaining service records with attention to safety and DOT compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus MSHA and crane/rigger certifications preferred, along with valid driver’s license and CDL eligibility. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• MSHA certification preferred.
• Air conditioning and crane/rigger certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting offsite with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and verify proper operation after repairs.
• Maintain vehicle and tool records, complete service reports, and order parts as needed.
• Communicate progress to supervisor and customers; complete all assigned tasks within required time frames.
