Job summary

HOLT Group in San Antonio is seeking a Field Service Technician I to provide on-site and off-site service for construction equipment, perform minor troubleshooting, repair, and reconditioning, and ensure proper documentation of service work.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of heavy equipment experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license; MSHA/air conditioning/crane certifications are preferred. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• More than one year of heavy equipment experience required; three or more years preferred.
• Must possess valid driver's license.
• MSHA/AC/crane certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor repairs and troubleshooting offsite with minimal supervision.
• Removes and install parts, disassembles and assembles basic components.
• Tests and verifies proper operation of all repairs.
• Maintains service records and writes service reports; orders parts as needed.
• Operates equipment and vehicles with required licenses and maintains DOT logs.
• Completes required Technician Training Path courses and safety training.
