Job summary

HOLT CAT in Texas is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform offsite diagnostics, minor repairs, and reconditioning of construction equipment. You will document service reports, coordinate with customers, and ensure safety and DOT compliance during field work.

The role requires 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, a valid driver's license with CDL eligibility, and the ability to obtain crane and forklift certifications.

Qualifications

• Over two years of heavy equipment experience required; three or more years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• MSHA, Crane/Rigger, and CDL-related certifications preferred.
• Must own required tools to perform repairs and be able to obtain CDL if needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor repairs and troubleshooting offsite with minimal supervision.
• Prepares and completes all job related documents and service reports; maintains customer records.
• Operates equipment and maintains required licenses/certifications; adheres to DOT rules.
• Communicates job progress to supervisor and customer as needed.
• Maintains safety policies and completes training in a timely manner.
• Travel with overnight stays as required by workload.
