Job summary

HOLT CAT is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician for the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas Region. You will diagnose and repair emissions, hydraulics, engines, transmissions, HVAC, and electrical systems on CAT heavy equipment such as dozers, backhoes, loaders, and excavators.

You will document all work orders, maintain customer records, and mentor junior technicians. Responsibilities include on-site service, off-site repairs, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• More than four years of heavy equipment experience (six+ preferred).
• Must be able to use CAT ET and CAT SIS2.0.
• MSHA/certifications preferred.
• Air conditioning certification preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot Tier 4 emission systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy construction equipment on-site and off-site.
• Document all work orders and write service reports.
• Operate and test repaired equipment to CAT specifications.
• Mentor lesser-technician staff and participate in work-order quotations.
