Job summary

Clean Harbors in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety-focused team. The role involves field work for hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling hazardous materials.

A paid one-week Academy training could be out of state with expenses covered by the company. We prioritize health and safety, offer comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and provide growth opportunities, 401K with company match, and an employee stock purchase

Qualifications

Must pass a background check, drug test, and physical.
On-call for emergency response; may require weekend/holiday work.
Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and procedures.
Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
Operate light and heavy equipment and use various hand tools and powered industrial tools.
Wear and use PPE correctly, including respirators and protective gear.
Work in varied temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Handle hazardous waste in accordance with regulations and safety guidelines.
Assist in field sampling activities and calibration of meters.
Climb ladders/scaffolding and access trucks, tanks and containers.
Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis; some shifts >8 hours.
