Clean Harbors in Liberty, MO is seeking a Field Services Technician I to support hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, and decontamination activities. The role requires field work, safe handling of hazardous materials, and adherence to safety protocols.

New hires attend a paid one-week Academy training (out-of-state possible). Health benefits, 401K with company match, and growth opportunities are available after 30 days of full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical labor and follow safety policies.
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Background check, drug test, and medical physical as required by role.

Responsabilités

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects
• Operate light and heavy equipment, handles various hand tools and powered industrial tools
• Wear and properly use PPE including respirators and protective gear
• Work in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Work in environments with potential exposure to hazardous materials
• Climb ladders and scaffolding; work from trucks, tanks, and containers
• Assist in field sampling activities and calibration of meters
• Attend compliance and safety meetings
• On-call for emergency response on rotating basis every other week
• Site-remediation, decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials
