Job summary

Clean Harbors in Location is seeking a Field Services Technician II to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks as part of field remediation work.
• Willingness to participate in emergency response assignments that may require out-of-town travel and extended hours.
• Must be available for on-call shifts and rotating emergency duty.
• A valid driver's license is required to operate company vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health and safety policies to ensure safe operations.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use a range of tools and PPE.
• Conduct site sampling and instrumentation calibration as needed.
• Load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Attend compliance and safety meetings and maintain required paperwork.
