Clean Harbors is seeking a Field Services Technician I in Amarillo, TX to join our safety-focused team. The role involves field tasks related to hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, and decontamination of equipment, with on-call emergency response on a rotating schedule.

New hires will attend a two-week paid Academy training (out of state possible) with expenses covered by the company. Clean Harbors offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to perform physical functions per responsibilities.
• This position includes emergency response and on-call duties; weekends/holidays possible.
• Background check, drug test, and physical required by position.
• Respiratory protection standards compliance per OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health and safety policies and act safely at all times.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor and lifting.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and various tools.
• Wear and use PPE including respirators and protective gear.
• Work in varying temperatures and weather conditions; potential exposure to hazards.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Field sampling and meter calibration assistance.
• Safe loading/unloading of hazardous waste; waste profiling as needed.
• Comply with DOT and environmental regulations.
