Job summary

Clean Harbors in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety-conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

New hires must attend a paid two-week Academy training, which could be out of state, with expenses covered by the company.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical functions per key responsibilities.
• Emergency on-call required; weekends/holidays may be needed; shifts can extend to 12–24 hrs.
• Background check, drug test, and physical may be required by position.
• OSHA respirator facial hair standards compliance.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and work safely at all times.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use hand tools and PPE.
• Work in various temperatures and weather conditions.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
