Job summary

Enerflex Ltd in Odessa, TX is seeking a Service Technician I to perform basic maintenance and servicing of gas compression packages, learn from peers, and progress to higher levels with supervision.

The role requires travel, on-call rotation, and a commitment to safety; candidates should have a high school diploma and mechanical/electrical aptitude, plus the ability to use diagnostic tools and perform field repairs on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some vocational/technical training preferred.
• 1–3 years applicable experience in field service or maintenance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening and physical testing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical abilities for servicing gas compressors and production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Travel frequently (multi-state) with short notice, including nights and weekends.
• Provide accurate field service reports, expense reports, and timesheets daily.
• Assist in rebuilds/overhauls of compressors, engines, and controls in the field.
• Support installation, commissioning, and start-up inspections of new units.
• Recognize safety hazards and comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
