Job summary

Crane Payment Innovations seeks a Field Service Technician I to service South Cook County, DuPage County and surrounding areas incl. Lake County IN. Travel by vehicle is required with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in technical/field service or equivalent role.
• Impeccable integrity and trustworthiness.
• Ability to access highly secured environments; licenses may be required.
• Strong electromechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; customer-focused attitude.
• Team player who can work with colleagues at all levels.
• Detail-oriented with ability to plan and prioritize work.
• Proficient with iOS, MS Office and Windows OS.
• Capable of meeting project deadlines and traveling as needed.
• Hourly wage 25.00 to 26.00 an hour.

Responsibilities

• Service, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance on electromechanical equipment.
• Travel daily by vehicle to client sites; overnight stays as needed (10%).
• Collaborate with branch staff to meet client needs.
• Address service requests within contract response times.
• Maintain vehicle parts inventory and perform asset protection.
• Support on-call duty and extended hours when required.
