Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing seeks a Field Service Technician Level I to support start-up, commissioning, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of IEM equipment under guidance of experienced Field Service personnel. This role is intended for individuals with mechanical, electrical, or technical aptitude who are eager to learn, work hands-on, and develop within a field service environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in power distribution systems preferred.
• 0-2 years related electrical, mechanical, or field service experience is preferred.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and use hand tools, testers and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Support start-up and commissioning of switchboards, control panels, and power products under supervision.
• Assist with installation and modification of electrical or mechanical components.
• Perform basic testing of modified assemblies per procedures.
• Assist with troubleshooting of electrical circuits and networking equipment.
• Escalate issues to Field Service Leads, PMs, or management as appropriate.
