Job summary

ChampionX in Roosevelt, UT is seeking a Field Service Technician to support Horizontal Pump Systems (HPS) within our Artificial Lift business. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair pumping systems in industrial settings.

The role requires mechanical and electrical skills to ensure safe, reliable operation and compliance with industry standards. You will perform testing of flow, pressure, and efficiency, and complete on-site service deliveries.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or high school diploma/GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of field service experience.
• Experience with AC/DC motors and SCADA/control systems preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to perform pulls and installs independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair horizontal pump systems.
• Ensure pumps operate safely and in compliance with standards.
• Perform system testing for flow, pressure, and efficiency.
• Execute on-site service deliveries including installation and inspection.
• Develop customer contacts to promote products and services.
• Adhere to CAT, self-assessments and well-site inspections.
• Participate in service quality meetings and continuous improvement.
