Job summary

Halliburton is seeking an experienced Service Specialist to repair, inspect, and troubleshoot Horizontal Pumping Systems on site in Odessa, TX. You will train others, prepare detailed service reports, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while traveling as needed.

With 4+ years in artificial lift operations and a high school diploma, you will perform preventive maintenance, alignments, and vibration analysis, supporting customers and upholding Halliburton’s safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school or similar education is required and 4+ years of experience in artificial lift operations.
• Performs basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
• Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, routine checks, and troubleshooting on HPS independently.
• Provide instruction and technical support to customer personnel on HPS handling.
• Track and maintain preventive maintenance, repairs, alignments, and basic vibration analysis on HPS units.
• Prepare detailed service reports and forms.
• Train and coach new hires in basic principles.
• Travel as required to customer sites.
• Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness; comply with HSE regulations.
• Maintain mechanical performance and cleanliness of the service truck used for field transportation.
