Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to perform field service at customer sites across the region. You will diagnose, repair, maintain, and install pumps and related mechanical equipment, ensuring safety and excellent customer service.

The role requires independence, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in field service or industrial maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and experience with rotating

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two to five years of field service, industrial maintenance, or related technical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with pumps, rotating equipment, or diesel-powered machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service docs.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on pumps and related equipment.
• Inspect equipment, identify issues, and recommend repairs or corrective actions.
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, lubrication, part replacement, and inspections.
• Install, repair, and maintain pumping systems and related equipment.
• Maintain service reports and documentation.
• Ensure work complies with safety standards and customer requirements.
• Communicate with customers about conditions and recommendations.
• Keep company vehicles and tools in good working order.
• Work independently in the field and manage multiple calls.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer needs.
