The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with electric motors, various pump types, and diagnostic tools, and can read schematics. Travel and after-hours on-call work are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pump control troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Experience working with 208/230/460V power systems.
• Hands-on motor installation, service and repair.
• Familiar with submersible, centrifugal, vertical turbine and self-priming pumps.
• Able to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and be on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations for diagnostics and repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with pumps, controls, piping, and valves.
• Provide expert-level customer service and technical support.
• Maintain truck inventory and service vehicle readiness.
• Complete field service reports and required documentation.
• Must be available for after-hours and on-call shifts.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Read and interpret schematics for equipment assembly and repairs.
• Perform failure assessments and plan repair scopes, including material takeoffs and time estimates.
• Represent the company professionally with a customer-focused attitude.
