Job summary

ChampionX in Watford City, ND is seeking a Field Service Technician (Hydraulics) to perform maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting of multiplex pump skids and Jet Pump systems at oil and gas sites. The role requires at least one year of field service experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license; you will work Monday to Friday with potential overtime and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• One year of field service mechanic experience troubleshooting and repairing multiplex pumps and jet pump artificial lift systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities with VSDs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; able to document work clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to advanced maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting in shop or field.
• Commissioning/decommissioning multiplex pump skids and components at oil/gas sites.
• Repair and service multiplex pumps (Triplexes/Quintuplexes) and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot Jet Pump systems used for artificial lift.
• Complete preventative maintenance and write service tickets promptly.
• Participate in on-call rotation and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Adhere to safety policies and communicate effectively with customers.
