ChampionX is seeking a Field Service Technician with Prime Pump Solutions for Odessa, TX. You will commission, decommission, service, and troubleshoot multiplex plunger pump skids at oil and gas sites, ensuring reliability of Jet Pump lift and SWD systems.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate service tickets, strong customer communication, and hands-on maintenance across pumps, motors, VSDs, valves, and meters in varying field conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2 years oilfield pump servicing experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and fault diagnosis ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for field interactions and reports.
• Proactive, safety-focused approach with the ability to work independently in field locations.

Responsabilités

• Execute commissioning/decommissioning of multiplex plunger pump skids and components at oil and gas sites.
• Repair and troubleshoot multiplex plunger pumps and auxiliary components (motors, VSD/VFD, switches, meters, valves).
• Service Horizontal Surface Pumps (HSP) and Jet Lift systems; perform preventative maintenance.
• Write and review service tickets accurately for customers and invoicing.
