Job summary

WOW! is seeking a Field Service Technician in the United States to install, maintain, and troubleshoot WOW! internet, phone, and video services in assigned neighborhoods.

You’ll educate customers, deliver reliable service, and work independently in the field, with opportunities for career growth and a comprehensive benefits package. A valid driver's license and the ability to climb and carry equipment are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Comfort using hand tools and testing equipment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Complete installations, reconnections, upgrades, and service changes.
• Install/relocate outlets, modems, wiring, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues from customer equipment to the network tap.
• Test, repair, and replace coaxial cable and components.
• Perform network troubleshooting with ping and traceroute tests.
• Check signal levels, voltage, and system performance.
• Identify causes of signal degradation or interruptions.
• Educate customers on proper use of equipment and services.
• Maintain documentation and service records.
• Follow safety standards and company procedures.
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service.
• Assist and train team members as needed.
