Job summary
Plug Power Inc. in Visalia, CA is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell products in electric lift trucks. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and install or service fuel cells at a customer site.
The role requires 3+ years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, a valid driver license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and strong communication with customers. You will receive on-call support, purchase parts, and may travel as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
- 3+ years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Valid driver's license with clean record.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Strong communication with diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and evaluate fleet performance.
- Perform field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades.
- Provide on-call and emergency support.
- Purchase tools, equipment, and parts as required.
- Travel as needed for business requirements.
- Complete incident reports and service logs.
