Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and maintain fuel cells at customer sites, ensuring safe operation and adherence to procedures. The role involves troubleshooting, reporting issues, and coordinating with regional teams to support site operations.

The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills to interact with diverse customers and stakeholders. Training and tools will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Must possess a valid driver license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain the fleet at a location.
• Perform field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support as required.
• Travel as required for business needs and adhere to traffic laws.
