Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell products in customer sites, performing maintenance, diagnostics, and upgrades. You will report breakdowns, order parts, and ensure field safety and documentation are completed accurately.

The role involves travel to sites, exposure to customers and lift truck environments, and requires strong technical, communication, and reliability skills. A high school diploma with technical electrical coursework is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• 3+ years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluation to maintain fleet at client site.
• Field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support as required.
• Procure tools, equipment, and parts for service and support.
