Job summary

Plug Power Field Service Technician will support fuel cell products in electric lift trucks, performing preventative maintenance and resolving breakdowns at a specific site. You will install and service fuel cells, report breakdowns, manage parts, and maintain safety and documentation.

Strong technical skills and excellent communication are essential. The role requires 3+ years of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, a valid driver license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• 3+ years of direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting and evaluations to maintain the fleet at a location.
• Field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support to customers as required.
• Purchase tools, equipment and parts for customer service and support.
