Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Detroit, MI market. This field-based role delivers high-quality service, installations, maintenance, and issue resolution across Institutional segments, traveling to Detroit and surrounding areas.

You will work a schedule of 10-hour shifts, earn a comprehensive benefits package, and gain exposure to maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer programs in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of service-related experience (maintenance, troubleshooting, or installation).
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• No immigration sponsorship available for this position.
• Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market.
• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems.
• Complete emergency service requests and planned/unplanned work orders.
• Evaluate account conditions and ensure Ecolab Brand Standards.
• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to maintain a stocked vehicle and support first-time fixes.
• Document work performed accurately and timely.
• Communicate Ecolab’s value and strengthen customer relationships.
• Collaborate with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness.
