Raymond West is seeking a dynamic Field Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair material handling equipment at customer sites. You will travel within assigned territories, using a company vehicle and gas card, and must communicate options to customers before proceeding with work.

The role emphasizes safety, clear documentation, and ongoing training, with opportunities to mentor others and advance within a collaborative service team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years breakdown experience or comparable service experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; English fluency.
• Able to read/interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Repair all equipment Raymond West sells and services.
• Update training and skills on a continuing basis.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Maintain a profitable billing level.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Communicate options to customers before work.
• Maintain vehicle interior/exterior and parts inventory.
• Establish rapport with customers and travel within territories.
