Job summary

Lippert, a leading global manufacturer serving the RV, marine, automotive, and building products industries, seeks a Field Service Technician to service and install equipment at customer sites across Indiana and Michigan.

You will analyze work orders, perform installations and tests, troubleshoot on-site issues, and maintain strong customer relationships while following safety and quality standards. Travel is required within the region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or related associates degree.
• One to three years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.

Responsibilities

• Analyze work orders, plan daily travel, investigate complaints, conduct tests, resolve problems.
• Establish service by studying system requirements, ordering parts, completing installation and tests.
• Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions and recommending improvements.
• Keep personal equipment operating by following instructions, troubleshooting, maintaining supplies and performing preventive maintenance.
• Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records.
• Maintain customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
• Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
