Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative for a home-based, nationwide role in the United States. You will service, install, troubleshoot, and repair Schneider Electric equipment at customer sites, and perform warranty and start-up work on Variable Frequency Drives.

The position includes company training, provided tools and equipment (vehicle, uniforms, mobile devices, laptops), and a 40-hour guarantee with overtime. Expect regional travel and on-site support for customers.

Qualifications

• Vocational education or military training in electronics or related discipline.
• 2+ years of electrical/mechanical service experience with electrical components.
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Ability to write reports and present information clearly to managers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, installing, and repairing customer equipment.
• Perform warranty work and start-up service.
• Startup/Commissioning on Schneider Variable Frequency Drives.
• Testing, calibration, and part replacement on drive products.
• Document all site information in technical reports.
