Schneider Electric in the United States seeks a Field Service Representative to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain customer equipment. You’ll work with customers, sales teams and partners on-site across diverse environments, focusing on safety and quality.

This home-based role includes 40 hours per week plus overtime, comprehensive product training, and access to company vehicles, tools, uniforms and devices. Some travel to training and job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Vocational education, military training, or transferable experience in electronics, electrical theory or similar discipline.
• 2+ years of relevant mechanical, electrical and/or power distribution service experience.
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives.
• Experience writing reports and presenting information to managers, clients, and customers.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Experience with testing, maintenance and upgrades of LV/MV switchgear, transformers, relays, and control systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and service documents.

Responsabilités

• Servicing, installing, and repairing customer equipment.
• Warranty work and start-up service.
• Startup/Commissioning on Schneider Variable Frequency Drives.
• Testing, calibration, and component replacement on drive products.
• Document all required site information in technical reports.
• Travel to support job sites and training as needed.
