Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain customer equipment across diverse environments. This home-based role includes paid training, company vehicles, tools, uniforms, and laptops, with a 40-hour week plus overtime.

Based in the U.S., the position supports our Industry Services team; travel to job sites and training sessions is expected.

Qualifications

• Vocational or military training related to electronics or similar discipline.
• 2+ years of relevant mechanical, electrical and/or power distribution service experience.
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives.
• Experience writing reports and presenting information to managers, clients, and customers.
• Ability to calculate quantities, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and service documents, including electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, installing, and repairing customer equipment.
• Perform warranty work and startup service.
• Startup/commissioning of Schneider Variable Frequency Drives.
• Testing and calibration of electrical systems and components.
• Document site information in technical reports.
• Provide on-site audits and customer training.
