Job summary

ZEISS Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Field Service Technician for the CT team to install, repair, and calibrate high-tech CT systems at customer locations. You will travel extensively (90–100%) and interact with customers and cross-functional teams to support field deployments and system testing.

The role requires hands-on electronics/industrial mechanics experience, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

High school graduate or GED.
AS/BS in Electronics or Industrial Mechanics, or military training.
4 years related experience.
Experience with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.
Proficient with Windows operating systems.
Valid driver’s license.
Willing to travel 90–100%.
Excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate high-tech machines at customer locations.
Demonstrate customer service skills with a high level of passion and dedication.
Learn new skills on high-tech CT machines using mechanical and electronic aptitude.
Perform necessary administrative paperwork accurately.
Be solutions-oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Travel requirement is 90-100% within the service area, including international travel as needed.
Other duties as required.
