Job summary

ZEISS Group in the United States is seeking a Field Service Technician for the CT team to install, service and calibrate high-precision CT systems at customer locations across the US. You will collaborate with cross-functional service groups and assist R&D with engineering tasks related to design, build, and testing of new systems.

Requires a minimum high school diploma or equivalent, AS/BS in Electronics or Industrial Mechanics or related military training, plus hands-on experience with tools.

Qualifications

• AS/BS in Electronics or Industrial Mechanics, or military tech training, or 4 years related experience.
• Prior experience with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and working 50+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate CT systems at customer sites.
• Travel 90–100% within the service area; potential international travel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional service groups and R&D on engineering tasks.
• Complete administrative paperwork accurately.
• Support production during assembly and testing of systems.
