Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking an intermediate Field Technician to operate compressor packages, gas processes, and rental equipment in OKC. You will support location policies, provide diagnostics, and backfill other field positions as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred- OEM, Trade School or 2+ years comparable work experience in related field.
• Successful completion of Kodiak’s SSE program, plus 1–2 years in an entry level Field Technician role.
• 3+ years (in total) of compression process, production, and equipment related experience and/or training.
• Electrical Troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of compressor packages, including all components and systems and mechanics of motor compressors.
• Valid Driver’s License, with MVR within acceptable parameters.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and performs job activities per Kodiak procedures and objectives.
• Troubleshoot complex repairs and major equipment overhauls and operation.
• Builds and maintains customer relationships.
• Analyzes parts and inventory with Supply Chain to ensure sufficient parts.
• Ensure 98%+ mechanical availability of equipment.
• Attend HSE meetings and adhere to HSE protocols.
• Maintain assigned units in clean, presentable condition.
• Provide 24/7 coverage and participate in on-call rotations.
