Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services, Inc. seeks an intermediate level Field Technician to operate compressor packages and gas processes. You will backfill and support other field positions as needed, troubleshoot repairs, and help meet location policies and forecasts.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, building customer relationships, and ensuring high mechanical availability. Must hold a valid driver’s license and be capable of working in varied environments with required PPE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred OEM/Trade School or 2+ years related field experience.
• Completion of Kodiak SSE program; 1–2 years in entry level Field Technician role.
• 3+ years of compression, production and equipment experience.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills required.
• Valid driver’s license with MVR within policy.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and performs field activities per Kodiak procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex repairs and major equipment overhauls.
• Maintain customer relationships and communicate clearly.
• Analyze parts and inventory with Supply Chain to ensure adequate spares.
• Ensure 98%+ mechanical availability of equipment.
• Provide 24/7 coverage; overtime and on-call rotations.
• Complete reports per area procedures and policies.
