Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking an Intermediate level Field Technician to operate compressor packages, gas processes, and rental equipment. You will backfill and assist other field positions, troubleshoot repairs, and help maintain high mechanical availability across units.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in compression/production, specific certifications, and strong problem-solving skills. The role requires a valid driver’s license and willingness to work shifts, including overtime and on-call

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• OEM, Trade School or 2+ years related work experience in a field/industry preferred.
• Successful completion of Kodiak’s SSE program, plus 1–2 years in an entry level Field Technician role.
• 3+ years of compression, production, and equipment related experience and/or training.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and perform job activities per Kodiak procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex repairs and major equipment overhauls and operation.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Provide 24/7 coverage and be available for on-call rotations.
