Field Service Technician - Benefits from Day 1!

Overview

As a Field Service Technician, you will troubleshoot, install, and repair machinery, contributing to our customers' packaging efficiency.

Responsibilities

1. Travel to customer sites for installation, start-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high-speed capping and ancillary equipment.
2. Train operators and technicians on system setup, operation, change-over, and maintenance.
3. Coordinate with customers to ensure availability of parts and spare components.
4. Prepare detailed reports on service visits, issues encountered, actions taken, and recommended next steps.
5. Occasionally travel to Zalkin in Statham, GA for training, assembly, testing, or factory acceptance tests.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a related technical field or 6 years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years in machine manufacturing or mechanical repair.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, including Allen-Bradley PLCs, servo motors, and complex machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel up to 75%, work independently, and handle overtime as needed.
