Join us as a Field Service Technician at Zalkin, a ProMach Product Brand.

Overview

Build your career with a growing company that values innovation and expertise. This role involves troubleshooting, installation, and repair of high-speed capping machinery, reporting to the Customer Service Manager. The position is remote, based in the Midwest or Northeastern United States.

Responsibilities

1. Travel to customer sites for installation, start-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
2. Train operators and technicians on system setup, operation, change-over, and maintenance.
3. Coordinate with customers to ensure availability of parts and spare components.
4. Prepare detailed trip reports and recommend next steps for customer satisfaction.
5. Occasional travel to Zalkin in Statham, GA for training, assembly, testing, or factory acceptance tests.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a related technical field or 6 years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years in machine manufacturing or mechanical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, including Allen-Bradley PLCs, servo motors, and complex machinery.
• Ability to read and understand engineering schematics.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel up to 75% and work overtime as needed.
