Overview

This role involves troubleshooting, installation, and repair of machinery, with opportunities for training and advancement. The position is remote, based in the Midwest or Northeastern US, with travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

1. Travel to customer locations for installation, start-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high-speed capping and ancillary equipment.
2. Train customers' operators and technicians on system setup, operation, change-over, and maintenance.
3. Coordinate parts and spare components to ensure quick repairs.
4. Prepare detailed trip reports outlining issues, actions, and next steps.
5. Occasional travel to Zalkin in Statham, GA for training, assembly, testing, or factory acceptance tests.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a related technical field or 6 years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years in machine manufacturing or mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, servo motors, and complex machinery.
• Ability to read engineering schematics.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel 75% and work overtime as needed.
